Booking process

  1. Email or call us with your preferred date, destination, group size and any mobility needs.
  2. We’ll check if the bus and volunteer driver are available.
  3. We’ll contact you to confirm the booking, times and pick-up details.

After the trip, we’ll confirm the final mileage and send payment details.

Payment

The hire charge for 2026 is £1.25 per mile.

Mileage is calculated from the bus storage area at Upton Warren (B61 7EZ) to your collection point(s), then to your destination, back to your drop-off point(s), and finally back to the storage area.

There is a minimum charge of £25.

The bus has a Disability Blue Badge, so parking charges usually do not apply during trips.

Payment is by bank transfer only. We will send an invoice after the trip, once the final mileage has been confirmed.

Payment is expected within one month of the journey.

Cancellations

Bookings can be cancelled free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged £25.

There is no charge if the trip is cancelled by the EDDIE Bus, for example due to vehicle problems or driver availability.

Cancellations due to bad weather are usually accepted without charge.
